Off we go again to Course #3 for the Laser World’s first day of racing after the Gold/Silver/Bronze Fleet split and a layday yesterday. I suppose that our course assignment really has no bearing over where we actually go because our PRO has no qualms with taking us under code-flag “Lima” (Follow Me) to any where within a ten miles. So, we’ll see where we end up today. The forecast is decent for today as a cold front moves over later this evening. The Laser’s have a 1300 start instead of the 1400 we were becoming used to in our qualifying series. Tomorrow our gun is at 1540 in the afternoon, and feel free to check out the WindGuru.com forecast that has the entire boatpark talking, and begging for mercy: high twenty knot range for sustained winds, and get this: 3.9 meter swell (13 feet!). We’ve been in big swell all week and it has only measured in the 1.5-1.8 meter range. Keep up to date at CascaisWorlds2007.com
